If you borrowed a cap and gown, please return it to Jefferson Middle School at your earliest convenience. You may keep the tassel and stole.
If you would like to donate your cap and gown to our students in need for future use, you may bring it to Jefferson Middle School over the summer. Once Memorial reopens in the fall, caps and gowns can be dropped off at the Welcome Center anytime during business hours.
If you were unable to pick up your diploma at the Kohl Center on Saturday, you can stop by Jefferson Middle School on Monday or Tuesday between the hours of 7:30am and 4:00pm. Diplomas not picked up by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 14th will be mailed. If changes need to be made to your diploma, the cost will be $10 for a reprint.
Before a student is issued a diploma, counselors must verify that they have met all graduation requirements. Counselors will be working closely with teachers to make sure students are passing and will reach out to students/families that are in danger of not passing a course required to graduate.
A senior with 20.5 credits earned by June 7th may participate in the graduation ceremonies with the understanding that graduation will not officially occur until 22 credits have been earned.
Students having earned less than 20.5 credits will not be allowed to participate in graduation ceremonies.
