Apply by May 7 for Free MMSD Summer Arts Opportunities

MMSD students will once again have the opportunity to explore music, theater, dance and other performing arts programs this summer through the free Summer Arts Seats Program!

The program connects current preK–12 students with free summer arts experiences offered by local community arts organizations across the Madison area. Programs are available for a wide range of ages and interests, including theater camps, choir, dance, ballet, stagecraft and youth artist internships.

The Summer Arts Seats Program is designed to expand access to arts enrichment opportunities for MMSD students at no cost to families. Priority will be given to students who have been historically underrepresented in community arts access, including students of color and students who qualify for school fee waivers.

Participating community partners include organizations such as Children's Theater of Madison, Madison Youth Choirs, Madison Ballet, The House Inc. and Cue The 608.

Families interested in applying should complete the online application by Thursday, May 7. Families will be notified of application status by May 14.
