Fall Break: No School Nov 23-25

In this special message, MMSD Superintendent Dr. Carlton Jenkins wishes everyone an enjoyable fall break. As this is also National Youth Homeless Awareness Month, Dr. Jenkins asks our community to reflect and think about those who are experiencing homelessness during this time.

Jenn Garthwaite, BRS at Frank Allis, is a rockstar! She has gone above and beyond to communicate and help schedule conferences for numerous families all the while still providing classroom support. Thank you so much!

Shout out to Gretchen Forbes - In addition to supporting scholars who are homebound, she has also been learning new robot technology like a rockstar! All your efforts to support scholars are greatly appreciated!

Dawn Svanoe is a beacon of warmth, joy, shine and fun!!! While she supports and uplifts our youngest scholars our entire school feels her positive presence and impact. Between starting our mornings off right with a bit of music and dance or adding sparkle and color; Elvehjem is beyond fortunate to have Dawn as part of our team.
